Today I want to share a valuable experience. On my last trip to New York, I had the opportunity to walk and visit many stores, but the best of surprises was to arrive at a «vintage» store, where I got some accessories that I like to collect.

As I was looking for, I found this wonderful set, at first I wasn’t sure, but I looked at it and said, it has so much style, it’s so … «Retro«, so vintage, look at those shoulder pads, (I thought) it’s super 40’s, and it’s mine, so I bought it, for only $ 18, hehe.

I was perfect without alterations, to put it on I felt the inspiration of the decade. I sent a photo to my stylist @henryluistejada and he loved it, we decided to do it in a sober look, I picked up my hair, and I put on these little earrings, which also bring a retro touch.

Recall that this decade was characterized by simpler and straight cuts, with much softer fabrics, and the presence of shoulder pads that made women look masculine compared to previous decades, starting with two-piece looks, like this one. Doing so the woman will wear more pants, due to the scarcity of silk to have pantyhose.

This look was almost complete vintage, because my portfolio is also one of those pieces.
